About AniFX
AniFX is a curated image-effects animator — a catalog of specific, named motion treatments for still images, not a general-purpose AI video generator. The studio works today; the catalog is still growing.
What AniFX is
AniFX lets you take a still image — a portrait, a product shot, a landscape, a piece of key art — and apply a specific, named effect to it, such as a cinematic zoom or a light sweep, with more effects like drifting cloud layers planned. Each effect in the catalog is a deliberate, controlled treatment with a defined range of motion, not an open-ended prompt handed to a general video model. That distinction is the point: AniFX is built around a fixed library of effects you choose from and adjust, in the same way you'd reach for a named filter or preset in an image editor, rather than a text box that generates something different every time.
Current status
AniFX is usable today. The studio is live and free: upload an image, choose an effect, tune it and export a looping video, all in your browser. Thirteen motion effects work now — cinematic zoom, glitch, shimmer (light sweep), horizontal and vertical pan, Ken Burns, shake, floating, pulse, colour pulse, chromatic shift, camera tilt and dream glow. The wider catalog is larger than that: effects such as rain, snow and mist are planned but not yet in the studio, and their pages say so explicitly ("planned" or "concept"). Examples for planned effects are illustrative concepts, not live renders.

Product philosophy
Think of AniFX as Photoshop-style effects for image animation, not a prompt-based AI video tool. Every effect in the catalog is a named, bounded treatment with defined controls — motion intensity, whether it affects the subject or just the background, whether it loops seamlessly — rather than an unpredictable generation from a free-text prompt. The goal is curated, controlled, repeatable results: apply the same effect to the same kind of image twice and get a consistent, predictable outcome, the way a well-designed filter behaves rather than the way a generative prompt does.
