Privacy Policy

The short version
This site does not collect personal information, does not require an account, and does not use a waitlist or email signup. It does run Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to the site — see “Analytics and tracking” below for exactly what that involves.
What this site is
AniFX is a free in-browser animation studio plus a library of effects, guides, examples, and curated collections. It has no user accounts, no sign-up flow, no forms that collect an email address or any other personal information, and no checkout or payment flow. Images you load into the studio are processed entirely in your browser and are not sent to AniFX's servers. Using this site does not create any record tied to you as an individual.
Cursor creator autosave
The cursor creator automatically saves your current project (pixels, frame timing, size and hotspot) to your browser's own IndexedDB storage so it survives a page reload. This copy stays on your device, is never uploaded to AniFX, and can be removed at any time with the “Reset & delete saved copy” button or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Analytics and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics (Google tag / gtag.js) to understand aggregate traffic — which pages get visited, roughly how, and how often. Google Analytics can set cookies and collect standard technical data such as your approximate location, device/browser type, and the pages you view, and this data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. AniFX does not use this data to build individual profiles, does not combine it with any other personal information, and does not use it for advertising. No advertising or retargeting pixel is installed on this site.
The studio and cursor creator also send a few anonymous usage events to Google Analytics: that an image was loaded, which effect was chosen, that an export started or finished (with its file format and frame count), and that a cursor file was downloaded (.cur or .ani, with frame count and size). These events never include file names, image contents, cursor artwork or any text you enter.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish visitors and sessions for aggregate traffic measurement, as described above. AniFX itself does not set any other tracking, advertising, or profiling cookies. If the underlying hosting platform or browser sets any strictly technical cookies as part of normal web delivery, they are not used by AniFX for any profiling or tracking purpose.
Server logs
Like effectively any website, the infrastructure that serves this site may generate standard technical web-server logs (such as IP address, requested URL, and timestamp) purely as a byproduct of handling HTTP requests. These are operational logs used for keeping the site running and secure, not a feature of AniFX itself, and AniFX does not build any profile, dashboard, or product feature from them.
Future changes
If AniFX introduces accounts, uploads, or payments, this policy will be rewritten to describe exactly what is collected, how it is stored, and how you can control it, before those features become available.
Contact
AniFX does not yet publish a dedicated privacy contact channel. None is established here rather than have this page invent one.
