Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026.
The short version
AniFX is a free, in-browser tool for animating still images, alongside a library of effect pages, guides and examples. There is nothing to purchase and no account to create. Only effects marked as available work in the studio; the rest of the catalog is planned.
Scope of this site
The studio and its available effects work today. The rest of the effects catalog, concept examples and curated collections describe planned effects: none is guaranteed to ship in the form shown, on any particular timeline, or at all. Status language on individual pages ("available", "planned", "concept") reflects the actual state of that content when it was published.
No purchases, no accounts
This site does not sell anything, does not process payments, and does not require an account to use the studio or view any page. There is no subscription and no waitlist. If AniFX later introduces accounts or paid features, those will come with their own explicit terms at that time.
No user-generated content
Images you load into the studio are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to AniFX's servers. You are responsible for having the right to use any image you animate. There is no way to submit comments or publish content on this site.
Content and accuracy
Effect descriptions, concept examples, and guide content are provided for informational purposes about a product that is still growing. Concept examples are illustrative previews of an intended visual result, not a demonstration of a working, shippable feature — pages that show them are labeled as concept previews. Content on this site may change, be corrected, or be removed at any time as the underlying product develops.
Acceptable use
You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and not to attempt to disrupt its normal operation, circumvent its technical controls, or scrape it in a way that places undue load on the underlying infrastructure.
Changes to these terms
If AniFX adds accounts, server-side uploads, or payments, these terms will be rewritten to cover them before those features become available.
Contact
AniFX does not yet publish a dedicated contact channel on this site. None is established here rather than have this page invent one.
