Food Effects

Food photography sells appetite, and appetite is triggered by texture and heat as much as by composition, so AniFX's planned food effects focus on cues like rising steam, drifting particles, and warm light — small signals that a dish is fresh and just plated rather than a static catalog shot.

Because food images are usually shot close and warm-lit already, the effects being designed for this category are intentionally restrained — a stronger motion risks looking synthetic on something meant to look edible, so subtlety is treated as a feature, not a limitation.
