About this effect
Smoke Drift overlays procedurally animated smoke wisps onto the image, composited with soft edges and variable opacity so they read as part of the original scene rather than a pasted-on layer. The smoke moves at an unhurried pace, curling and dissipating in a loose loop. It can be confined to a region (behind a subject, along an edge) or allowed to drift across the full frame.
