Retro motion is built from the imperfections of analog media — tape wobble, tracking noise, faded broadcast color — rather than from clean digital effects. AniFX's planned retro effects are designed to reproduce those specific artifacts convincingly rather than approximate a vague sense of "old."

This is a narrower, more genre-specific style than most of the others in the library, which is why it's currently anchored to a small number of planned effects — it's aimed squarely at music and nostalgia-driven content rather than general-purpose use.
